My Impact -- Bob Shenefelt

There are many frustrating things happening in the world such as the oil spill, mortgage and banking fraud, and issues we have in our health care system.  Such occurrences have made me angry, sad and scared and yet when I really think about what I can do to make a difference in our world I realize it needs to start in my own life.  I have thought about what I can do to make an impact and the biggest impression that I can have is to demonstrate to my children and family the type of behavior and standards I think are moral and ethical.  It is important to make decisions on a daily basis that are in alignment with what I believe in.  At the end of the day what matters most in my life is that my children learned from me what was right and wrong.
